What is FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plywood)?

FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plywood) is an alternative to aluminum side walls in Supreme Van Bodies. FRP – Fiberglass Reinforced Plywood – is a common alternative to aluminum side walls in van bodies and cutaway vans. FRP van bodies tend to give you more cubic feet of payload than aluminum. FRP is durable, noncorrosive, and scratch-resistant so you don’t have to worry about rust. FRP gives your truck body smooth, white walls that are ideal for company graphics on the outside and creates a brighter work environment inside the truck body. Supreme’s Signature Van Body uses ˝ inch core FRP for the front wall, providing extra protection against both load and road damage. Supreme’s Iner-City and Spartan product lines also use FRP in their construction. Supreme manufactures its own FRP at our state-of-the-art facility in Indiana.
